Kirandy – cherry liqueur

A tradition returns

Kirandy is more than just a novelty – it is a revival.

The region was once renowned for its cherry brandy, which was cherished for generations. Right up until the late 1950s, a cherry liqueur was produced at Beaufort Castle, serving as a fruity complement to the classic brandy and an integral part of the region’s culinary culture.

Kirandy marks the return of this concept, inspired by the original recipe and with the aim of carrying it forward in a contemporary way

What was cherished back then still appeals today: the pure flavour of the cherry, crafted by hand and without unnecessary additives.

From fruit to liqueur

For Kirandy, ripe, aromatic cherries are carefully selected and gently processed. With no added flavourings, the result is a liqueur that preserves the fruit’s natural intensity.

During maceration, the cherries develop their deep red colour, their juicy richness and a delicate, lively acidity. Patience and experience ensure that sweetness and fruit achieve a harmonious balance, making the Kirandy full-bodied, structured and elegant.

Flavour and enjoyment

The bouquet reveals the seductive aroma of ripe cherries – crisp, juicy and inviting. On the palate, the liqueur is round and fruit-forward; its balanced structure harmoniously combines richness and elegance. The finish is smooth and long-lasting, leaving a lasting, harmonious impression.

Enjoy a variety of experiences

Kirandy brings classic cherry flavours back to the glass:

Enjoyed on its own as a digestif – smooth, rounded and full-bodied

Gentle, to round off desserts, particularly with dark chocolate or vanilla

Fruity and light in a crémant, adding an elegant, fruity note

Served on ice or in cocktails, adding depth and natural cherry freshness
